Series, Cinema and the News: Chatting Culture in French

Talk about the shows you binge, the films you see and the news you read, the way French colleagues do over lunch.

In France new films come out on Wednesdays, and cinemas label foreign films VF (dubbed into French) or VOST (original version with French subtitles). Many French TV channels let you watch shows free on catch-up (« en replay »), and some national museums, such as the Musée d'Orsay, are free on the first Sunday of the month. Colleagues of similar age often use tu at lunch, so the talk is casual.
