A Day's Fishing on a French River
Get your fishing permit, bait your hook and chat on the riverbank during a day out fishing in France.
To fish in French rivers and lakes you need a carte de pêche, bought online on cartedepeche.fr or in a tackle shop; there are year, week and day cards. Sea fishing from the shore needs no permit, but there are minimum sizes for each fish. Trout season usually opens in March, and early morning is the classic time to go; friends on a fishing trip use tu.
