Graduation Day at a French School
Celebrate your degree: the ceremony, the gown, the photos, the toast and the 'so what's next?' question.
Graduation ceremonies are traditional in French grandes écoles and business schools, and more and more universities now hold a cérémonie de remise des diplômes too. You usually get an attestation de réussite first; the official paper diploma often arrives months later. A mention (assez bien, bien, très bien) marks a good result, and friends use tu with each other.
