Code Review with a French Colleague
Give and take code-review comments in French: soften a nitpick, ask why, push back politely and approve the merge.
French developers tutoient each other and do code reviews in a mix of French and English jargon: une PR, merger, un commit, les tests passent. Comments are often softened with the conditional (je renommerais) or with 'petit détail' for a nitpick, and 'c'est pas bloquant' signals you can merge anyway. Written comments stay a bit more careful than spoken ones, but the tone is direct and friendly.
