Running a Video Call in French
Handle the mute button, share your screen, interrupt politely and wrap up a remote team meeting in French.
Since 2020 a large share of French office workers do some télétravail, and team meetings run on Teams, Google Meet or Zoom, called une visio. Colleagues tutoient each other but address the group as vous. Tech words are half-borrowed: you're en sourdine or simply 'en mute', you post in le chat (also spelled tchat), and a meeting ends with a récap par mail.
