Getting Your Flu Jab at a French Pharmacy
Book a jab, answer the health questions, get vaccinated and know what to do afterwards.
In France pharmacists can now give most adult vaccines, including the yearly flu jab, so many people get vaccinated at their local pharmacie, with or without an appointment booked on Doctolib or by phone. The flu campaign runs from mid-October to the end of January; people at risk receive a voucher (bon de prise en charge) from the Assurance Maladie and the vaccine is then free. Bring your carte Vitale, and the jab is recorded in your carnet de vaccination or in Mon espace santé.
