Talking About AI in Spain

Share how you use AI, debate its risks with colleagues and show a sceptical relative how it works.

In Spain people mostly say 'la IA' (la i-a) or 'la inteligencia artificial', always feminine, and it's a favourite topic over the long workday lunch, the 'menú del día'. Conversations swing between enthusiasm, worries about jobs and privacy, and parents wondering whether their kids are cheating on homework. The cards follow a newcomer discussing AI with colleagues at lunch and then showing their Spanish father-in-law how to use it.
