Asking for Directions in Spain

Stop a stranger, admit you're lost and follow directions to where you're going.

Spaniards are happy to give directions and usually do it with 'tú', pointing and saying 'todo recto' (straight on), never 'derecho', which sounds like 'derecha'. Distances are given in minutes 'andando', and the classic reassurance is 'no tiene pérdida'. The cards follow one walk through central Madrid, asking three different people the way.
