At the GP in Spain
Get an appointment at your centro de salud, explain your symptoms and leave with a prescription and a sick note.
In Spain your first stop is the médico de cabecera at your local centro de salud, booked through cita previa by app, phone or at the front desk with your tarjeta sanitaria. Prescriptions are loaded straight onto that card, and the doctor is the one who signs you off work with a baja. The cards follow one visit from the front desk to the way out.
