Kayaking Down a River in Spain
Useful Spanish sentences for renting a kayak, paddling a river and getting through the rapids.
In summer thousands of people paddle the river Sella in Asturias, renting a kayak or canoe in Arriondas, paddling downstream for a few hours and being bussed back at the end. The rental gives you a chaleco salvavidas and a bidón estanco for your things, plus a quick talk on how to paddle and what to do if you vuelcas. These sentences follow a couple renting a double kayak and paddling the descent together.
