Cycling in a Spanish City

Bike lanes, shared bikes, punctures and locking up when you cycle around a Spanish city.

Cities like Madrid, Valencia, Seville and Barcelona have growing networks of carril bici and public shared bikes you unlock with an app. Riding on the pavement is not allowed, and bike theft is common, so a good lock matters. The cards follow a newcomer cycling to work with a friend, fixing a puncture at a bike shop and locking up outside the office.
