First Aid in Spain
Help someone who collapses, call 112 and handle cuts, sprains and heatstroke in Spanish.
In Spain the emergency number is 112, and the operator will talk you through what to do until the ambulance arrives. Many public places have a defibrillator, and summer heat makes golpes de calor a real risk. Bystanders are expected to help and shout instructions to each other. The cards follow a hot afternoon on the seafront in Alicante and a hike the next weekend.
