Having a Dog in Spain
Chat with other dog owners, follow the park rules and talk to the vet about your new dog.
Lots of Spaniards adopt from a protectora, and every dog must have a microchip and its vaccines. In cities you walk dogs on the lead, pick up after them and let them run in the pipicán, the fenced dog area. Many terrazas welcome dogs, but it's polite to ask. The cards follow a newly adopted dog's first weeks in a Seville neighbourhood.
