Sorting Out Hotel Problems in Spain
Complain politely but firmly at a Spanish hotel, from the wrong room to a strange charge on the bill.
Spanish hotel staff use usted with guests, and you can answer the same way. A cama de matrimonio is a double bed, many cities add a tasa turística per night, and every business in Spain must give you an hoja de reclamaciones, an official complaints form, if you ask for one. The cards follow a couple's weekend in a Valencia hotel where almost everything goes wrong.
