The Residents' Meeting in a Spanish Building
Speak up at your building's junta de vecinos about the lift, the fees and the noise.
In Spain every block of flats is a comunidad de propietarios. Owners meet in a junta, often in the portal, run by an elected presidente and a professional administrador de fincas who keeps the acta. Big works are paid with a derrama, a one-off levy, and every point goes to a vote. These cards follow one junta about replacing the lift.
