Injuries and Broken Bones in Spain
Explain a fall, get through urgencias and talk about casts, sprains and recovery in Spanish.
In Spain you go to urgencias at the public hospital for a suspected break, get triaged by a nurse and seen by traumatología; sick leave (la baja) comes later from your GP at the centro de salud. The cards follow a fall in a Madrid park, an X-ray and a cast, and a friend's sprained ankle after pádel.
