Organising a Street Party in Spain

Plan a neighbourhood party, sort out the council permit and run the day itself in Spain.

Neighbourhood fiestas in Spain are often run by the residents themselves: a paella popular in the square, music, a raffle and help from local bars. Using a public square needs a permit from the ayuntamiento requested well in advance, and usually insurance. These cards follow a resident who helps plan the party at a neighbours' meeting, calls the council and helps on the day.
