Retirement and Pensions in Spain

Talk about retiring, pensions and contributions in Spain, from the office coffee break to the Social Security desk.

In Spain the state pension depends on how many years you've paid into the Seguridad Social, which you can check in your "informe de vida laboral". Many people top it up with a private pension plan or company scheme, and retirees often travel with IMSERSO trips or look after the grandchildren. The cards follow a foreign employee in Málaga asking a retiring colleague and the Social Security office about their future pension.
