Joining the Scouts in Spain
Sign your child up for a Spanish scout group, ask about the summer camp and hear how it went.
In Spain scout groups meet in their local on Saturday afternoons, are run by volunteer monitores and split children by age, with lobatos (cubs) from about eight. There is a small fee, a shirt and pañoleta, weekend outings and the big event of the year: two weeks of campamento in July. The cards follow a parent in Valencia from the first visit to the end of camp.
