Unions and Collective Agreements in Spain

Asking about the union, your collective agreement and your rights at work in Spain.

In Spain most jobs fall under a 'convenio colectivo' that sets pay, holidays, overtime and seniority bonuses whether or not you join a union. Joining is voluntary and confidential, and larger workplaces have a union rep and a 'comité de empresa'. These cards follow a new warehouse worker who checks his payslip, talks to the union rep and hears about a possible strike.
