Heat and Storms in Spain

Talk about scorching heat, sudden storms and weather warnings like a local.

Spanish summers bring heatwaves over 40 degrees, and late summer often brings sudden violent storms with hail and flooding. AEMET issues yellow, orange and red avisos, and people keep the persianas down and stay in at midday. The cards follow one day in Seville from a scorching morning to a storm and its aftermath.
