Stuck Between Floors

The lift stops, and so does your Swedish. Phrases for keeping calm.

The entrapment, moment by moment: the realization (hissen har stannat, vi sitter fast), the calm protocol (ingen panik, är alla okej?), the alarm and the wait, the phone-battery subplot, the safety rules (försök inte klättra ut), the care for the claustrophobic passenger (fortsätt prata med mig, det hjälper) — and the two-line release: den rör sig igen! Äntligen, dörrarna öppnas.
