En Estados Unidos la cacería está muy regulada: una license (licencia), un curso de hunter safety y temporadas fijas para cada especie. Las reglas cambian de un estado a otro, las multas son fuertes y cazar sin licencia es un delito. Ojo: en inglés estadounidense « license » se escribe con s y se pronuncia « LAI-sens ».
